Evil Micro Coin

I've been bidding on some coins on ebay and this is the very first one to arrive, eventhought it wanst the first one purchased.
Its a smart looking, trackable, unactivated mini coin, about the size of a EURO 2 piece, its in black metal with an evil smiley on it :-)

I was attrackted by the fun design and the quote "evil micros, love to hate em, hate to love'em".

Still have to figure out how to activate them and then decide wether or not to activate it.
EDIT: retrieved the activation code from Oakcoins.com, the coin's manufacturer, but havent activated it yet.

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of 5 more coins, particularly the "its not about the numbers" coin.

Received my first pathtag as a gift

Few days ago i registered an account at Pathtags.com and the same day people where messaging me for my adress so they could send me tags! FREE! no trade because I dont have any tags! I had never even seen a tag in real life.
Within an hour of posting "hi" I get a request for my adress from Pathman, StepNFetchIt, Mufflon and Jellyfish so they can send me a pathtag.

Yesterday there was mail from Sweden with a cute trol tag :-) straightaway it put a smile on my face for a variety of reasons. Not only was the tag very cute but receiving a personal gift from a total stranger for no reason at all is very overwhelming.
People talk about that "warm, fuzzy feeling", THAT is what I felt.
Thank you Mufflon!
And the weirdest thing about all this ... there are more on their way. More generosity from other strangers.

I'm working on returning the favor tho! The design for my first tag is reaching its final stage, still have to check the colors with the PMS color chart (what's in a name) and then it will be submitted.
For the Guinness stout fans : no the foam isnt the wrong color, there is no foam, its not a pint but rather a "Guinnessified" cache container, like an enlarged film canister. :-)

About loose ends, roman thomb and the batcave

Today we finalised a series with the roman walls here in Tongeren. The first of the series I found 4 months ago, as my 4th cache. And today we got this last one after I found the fake few months ago. Some cacher didnt feel like logging a DNF and dropped his own cache on the location and logged it. doofus.

Then the "tumulus" cache Just another thomb. A tumulus is a roman burial site. I ride passed that one on my way to work and I could swear I could hear it mock me everytime. Its a puzzle cache, a type I dont like. But wanted to set free the TB that had been sitting there since february. TO THE RESCUE. My wife spotted "an anomaly" and called me out while i was in the ditch struggling with a disgarded box of empty clamshells -.- , why I wear cachinggloves on ground zero.
Now I can ride passed there with a smile(y).

Finally de Grotten van Hinnisdael. After sunset, with a full moon, falling leaves making noises left and right, nocturnal birds jumping up from the branches, a dark cave with stories of bats.. Hitchcock eat your heart out! LOL
Cool tag on WP1 !! a welcome surprise !

Today was a good day and baby Jani was baptized today. We attended that after party this afternoon.
