HeliWing does Musée Sart Tilman

On friday was spent with the colleagues on our monthly caching trip. A dozen went for a 17km hike while 8 of us split up into 3 groups to go caching on the Sart Tilman near Liege.

Beautyfull site!A +9km hike through mainly woods and brooks in a hilly terrain, some chateaus, some sculptures, university campus, passed by a golf terrain.

And afterwards a meal and a drink at the Blanc Gravier.
A great day!

Hi! Maybe you could help me out or put me in contact with someone that can. My name is Larry Cooper. I am an elementary teacher near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania of the United States.
For a third grade class project, we would love to place our travel bug in a geocache in Belgium. We would love this travel bug to move across your country so we can learn more about your beautiful country plus some world geography. If you can take pictures for us along its way, we would be grateful.
We would love to hear from any teacher or anyone that might want to help us out and we would reciprocate the idea for you or a class and place a travel bug sent to us.
Thank you from a fellow geocacher,
clockdoc52

I replied and we emailed some and a few weeks later bug in the mailbox.
Not many people I know can say they got mail from Mars ... I'm keeping that envelope as proof!

TB rescue : TB Happy Cow

The colleagues planned a cache and the organiser picked Limburgse nostalgie: BOKRIJK.

The evening before I checked out the page and noticed a cry for help for a TB in trouble.
TO THE RESCUE !!

March 9 by team coach (178 found)
Hallo medecachers,
Alvast bedankt

Translated :"Our TB Happy cow was placed in this cache in january. One of the latest logs mentions to have seen the cow but the TB tag is missing. Who would like to take the Cow from the cache and contact us. So we can mail the copytag and set the Happy Cow free again? Thank you."
That day the weather was awfull, it was raining but we persisted and found the TB-less cow. I took it home with me, with weird looks from the guys wondering why I was so addement about taking the cow.

I emailed the owners and asked would it be ok if I made a TB from laminated paper and hooked that up to the cow?
Team Coach agreed and promptly sent me the tracking number which I used to make the new, boosted TB (see pictures). The tag was made in small, medium and large (10cm tall) version Team Coach had a look at the pictures and gave the thumbs up for the medium sized one. The remaining tags were mailed to Team Coach.
A few days later the TB Happy Cow was operational again andset on its way.

The homemade tag was printed on regular paper with an inkjet printer and then laminated 3 times (3 layers) to make it a bit tougher.

Team Coach:
Na een oproep op de betreffende cachepagina wordt Koetje gered door een mede-cacher. Hij wordt voorzien van een mooie zelfgemaakte tag en weer op reis gestuurd.

Guinness70 Bedankt!
