I cached in Kandahar

KAF meeting, 26 July
That attended log was my 199th log and K.O.D.A in the GHAN was my 200st find.
I can say "I cached in Kandahar, Afghanistan".

Caching on a military base in a war zone is not quite the same as caching at home. It is a lot more stressing as you dont want to get muggled by military police because you will have a lot of explaining to do about that hidden box. With scorpions and camel spider being part of the local fauna, putting your hand in dark nooks and crannies is also rather stressful. But its very rewarding when you do find the cache, but some required to go under the cover of darkness and "stray from the beaten path" ... I left those for my next trip.

And this is me at K.O.D.A in the GHAN, my 200st find, not every day I go caching with a sidearm ...
Dang wearing that floppy looks silly from this viewpoint... hey, it was pitchdark and no time to check your attire :-)
plus flashphotography attracks attention in this neighborghood.

Notice the particles of dust flairing up ...
VERY dusty.
